It is that time of year again to come together, to Dare To Hope and Walk on the Water in honour of the beautiful Louise Marie Globke.
WHEN: Saturday, 22 November 2025 at 10am
WHERE: Sea, Salt and Vine. 2 Reef Point Esplanade, Scarborough.
Please meet us at Sea, Salt and Vine on Saturday 22 November at 10am to walk 5kms along the water to The Komo where we will toast and cheers to Lou!
This page is a tribute to our beloved mother and wife, Louise (Lou), who passed away in September 2020 following a courageous nine-week battle with pancreatic cancer. Lou is fondly remembered for her vibrant and infectious personality. She had a natural ability to put others at ease, radiating calmness and contentment wherever she went. Her legacy lives on in the simple yet powerful reminder of how she lived life: slow down and smell the roses.
To pay tribute to her, I am raising funds for this critically underfunded and overlooked disease. I proudly support Dare to Hope, a volunteer-led charity committed to changing outcomes for those impacted by pancreatic cancer by funding vital medical research.
Medical research is the key to achieving breakthroughs in treatment and improving survival rates. Your support can help bring HOPE to those facing this devastating disease.
