Choosing Dare to Hope as Charity of the Month
Sometimes the simplest ideas make the biggest difference. That’s exactly what happened when Megan and her mum Jude nominated Dare to Hope for Bendigo Bank’s Charity of the Month program, in memory of their sister and daughter Lou who died from pancreatic cancer.
Their nomination meant Dare to Hope received both awareness and financial support through the bank’s community reinvestment initiative. It was a powerful reminder that anyone can play a role in driving change—sometimes all it takes is putting forward the name of a cause you care about.
Thanks to Megan and Jude, more people learned about the urgent need for greater awareness and funding for pancreatic cancer research. Their action shows how one nomination can spark hope and inspire a whole community.
There are many opportunities to nominate a charity – please think of Dare to Hope or get in touch with any suggestions hello@daretohope.com.au
