Hospital in the Home Team Rallies for Dare to Hope

The Hospital in the Home team see the impact of pancreatic cancer every day—not just on patients, but on their families too. Motivated to do more, they turned compassion into action, hosting a purple-themed bake sale, raffle, and silent auction in support of Dare to Hope.

With incredible spirit and dedication, the Monash HITH team poured their creativity into every detail, from experimenting with baking a purple cheesecake to collecting donations for raffle prizes. Their efforts not only raised vital funds but also lifted workplace morale, sparking pride and unity across the team.

HITH Nurse Manager Anita reflected, “These efforts not only raised vital funds but also strengthened our sense of unity and purpose as a team with a common goal.”

Team leaders were also commended by their Medical Director for their “exceptional dedication and hard work... your commitment truly made the fundraiser a remarkable success.”

This inspiring effort is a powerful reminder of the difference a workplace can make when people come together with passion, purpose—and a dash of purple fun.
